Biomonitoring Devices
An alarm system that uses various types of test organisms to monitor the physiological response of organisms due to the introduction of toxic substances, quantifies the level of toxicity, and issues an alarm when the level of toxicity exceeds the set level.

Microalgae biomonitoring device (
)
Overview
- Biomonitoring device in compliance with Biomonitoring Continuous Automatic Measuring Method using Microalgae (to be notified), using chlorella to automatically measure the toxicity of the field
Principles
of analysis
- Injecting specimen in microalgae reaction tank and measuring the fluorescence of changing microalgae to continuously measure the toxicity of specimen
- Injecting base solution (nontoxic specimen) and specimen each in optical reaction tank, followed by a certain number of microalgae, and measuring the changes in fluorescence for a certain period of time
- Comparing the amount of fluorescence changes of base solution and specimen and providing the toxicity of the toxic substance in specimen in 0~100% ratio
Equipment
features
- Chlorella microalgae are designed for continuous culture in the device, allowing unwatched operation for 2 weeks
- During measurement, microalgae are injected to overcome the limit of measuring device that is continuously exposed to toxicity, allowing accurate toxicity calculation
